Catalina Real-time Transient Survey

  • The Catalina Real-time Transient Survey (CRTS) uses data obtained by the Catalina Sky Survey (CSS)
    to search for significantly varying optical transients the 21 darkest nights per lunation, weather permiting.
  • This page is updated in real-time as optical transients are discovered and posted as VOEvents.
  • The last events was received at Friday, 06-Nov-2009 03:42:26 PST.
  • For more details of CRTS are available here.
  • When using CRTS data please cite the CRTS Paper (Drake et al. 2009, ApJ, 696, 870).
